Swim Team Coaches
RVSC retains a professional coaching staff to instruct swimmers on stroke mechanics, strength training and diving & turn techniques, all in a fun, non-stressful atmosphere. Emphasis is placed on developing teamwork skills, technique, endurance, aerobic training, improving times, and most of all having fun.
Karen Tubb returns as the Masked Bandits' Head Coach for 2009.
Karen has done a fantastic job for the Bandits,
coaching the team to undefeated seasons in 2003 and 2005, both resulting in
Suburban Swim Association National Division titles. The Bandits now swim and
compete strongly at the SSA's topmost level, the Olympic Division. In the winter, Karen
is a lead coach for the popular TNT youth swimming program at Rowan University.
Jack Bowers joins the Bandits' staff in 2009 as Assistant Coach. Many of our
younger swimmers know Jack from the TNT youth swimming program, and we're proud to
welcome him to Raccoon Valley this summer.
