Swim Team Coaches
RVSC retains a professional coaching staff to instruct swimmers on stroke mechanics, strength training and diving & turn techniques, all in a fun, non-stressful atmosphere. Emphasis is placed on developing teamwork skills, technique, endurance, aerobic training, improving times, and most of all having fun.
Karen Tubb returns as the Masked Bandits' Head Coach for 2008.
Karen has done a fantastic job for the Bandits,
coaching the team to undefeated seasons in 2003 and 2005, both resulting in
Suburban Swim Association National Division titles. The Bandits now swim and
compete strongly at the SSA's topmost level, the Olympic Division. In the winter, Karen
is a lead coach for the popular TNT youth swimming program at Rowan University.
Theresa Sharp will also be returning in 2008 as Assistant Coach. Theresa
joined the Masked Bandits staff in 2005 and has made her mark particularly among
our youngest age groups.
